Besides some cringe dialogue and drawn out moments， this book has reached its target audience。 Is it embarrassing to admit that i ate this book up and already have the 2nd book on hold？ yeah…but like come on！！ you write a tall dark and mysterious character with very loose morals and also give him a personality？？？ like yeah i’m gonna fall in love？？？ what did you expect。 definitely worth a read if you like…prettily written porn and a pretty cool plot。

Sin duda alguna este es el tipo de libro que ante nada te deja indiferente， aún no sé si estoy encantada， maravillada u horrorizada。Aún que siendo sincera es una mezcal explosiva de todo。Sin duda me ha tenido con el corazón en un puño， eh si todo todo lo que ella sentía y eh empatizado muy bien con los personajes， es una mundo muy bien construido aún que en mi opinión en ocasiones demasiado recargado y lento。

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 I picked this book up because I was looking for an easy romance read while still wanting some element of fantasy。 I didn’t expect it to be a great fantasy with lush world-building， etc。 and it isn’t。 So I kinda knew what I was getting into。 I’ve read enough YA fantasy and I do find books in this category mostly very repetitive and lacking in originality。 This book is like that too， but for some reason I still enjoyed it。Maybe because it was what I was looking for， a quick romance to feel that ex I picked this book up because I was looking for an easy romance read while still wanting some element of fantasy。 I didn’t expect it to be a great fantasy with lush world-building， etc。 and it isn’t。 So I kinda knew what I was getting into。 I’ve read enough YA fantasy and I do find books in this category mostly very repetitive and lacking in originality。 This book is like that too， but for some reason I still enjoyed it。Maybe because it was what I was looking for， a quick romance to feel that excitement and fuzzy feeling while also being fantasy enough to make the escapist in me satisfied。 The writer does know how to build romantic tension despite the characters lacking in originality。 The relationship the main characters have is not exactly healthy and is mostly fueled by lust， but well is it a “romance” novel。 Not that it excuses the lack of originality or the lack of character development， but I guess I knew what to expect in a way so it didn’t disappoint me much。The action/fight scenes were entertaining enough。 World-building definitely not a strong point （especially the names of places…seriously， the author could’ve come up with better names）， and a a lot of the world and people in were “generic fantasy”。 I was also disappointed that the book turned out to be another vampire and werewolf book。 I was hoping maybe at least for some originality in the lore。 It’s just so overused。 It lacked a lot of things and it’s not a great fantasy novel， but I still enjoyed it in some ways and will probably pick up the next book when I need some lighter fantasy escapism （I。e。 in between reading grimdark stuff）。 。。。more

This book reminds me of a cross between ACOTAR and Twilight。 I’m not sure ultimately how I feel about the story， there is some interesting world building and fantasy mixed in with the vampire/werewolf type of mysticism。 Ultimately the spicy scenes are good， the MC is alright if a little dumb， the plot twists are not all that surprising but it was overall enjoyable read。
